Credit card accounts are available for RBT clients that have an existing deposit account (checking or savings) with Republic Bank. The account must not be overdrawn, must not be dormant, and the account must be held directly in the name of the credit card applicant.

Mastercard SecureCode enhances your current Republic Bank Credit Card account to protect against unauthorized use of your Republic Bank Credit Card when you shop at participating merchants. Your card is registered with this additional protection at the time of opening.
One-Time Passcodes
Republic Bank may use a One-Time Passcode to verify your identity as an added protection against online fraud. During online shopping when a transaction presented is considered high risk, you may be asked to authenticate using a one-time passcode. This one-time password will be sent to your mobile device. Once received you will enter the code on the merchants website site in the “Enter One-Time Passcode” field. Once confirmed the transaction will be approved.
